how can I help you today? Well,

I’m looking at taking up a course here
and I wanted to find out what might be

suitable for me given my qualifications.

Was there a particular course
you were interested in? Uh, yeah,

I was thinking something in aged
care. Ok. Well to start us off,

I might ask you a few
questions, but uh, first off,

could you show me your visa and your
highest qualification. Yes sure.

So here’s a copy of my visa
and I have a bachelor’s degree.

Perfect. Thank you for that. Um,

so you can actually opt in for any of
these courses because you meet their

prerequisites. Oh wow. Um, do you mind
if I run these past my family first?

Yeah, sure. Take your
time. Yeah, thank you.

When do I have to make a decision
by? You’ve got a fair amount of time.

Actually a few months. So do
have a think about it all,

but why are you interested
in aged care? Oh,

I just love being around
people and helping them.

I helped look after my grandparents
when I was still at uni.

And that was for a few years?
That was for about four years.

I didn’t have uni every day.

So I looked after my grandma and grandpa
when I was living at home with my

parents. And did you enjoy doing
that? Yeah, I loved it. Yeah,

it was a lot of fun.

I taught my nan and pop how to use their
phones and iPads properly, you know,

not just for making phone calls.
I’m guessing you miss them a lot.

I mean given the fact that you live so
far away from each other now. Yeah, I do.

I miss them so much, but it’s what got
me interested in aged care. Well look,

it sounds like aged care is
probably perfect for you.

You probably pick it up really easily
and I think you will sail through the

course. So let me just give
